Production and exports have grown in tandem. From 2003 to 2007, my country's ferroalloy production grew rapidly, about 10 percentage points faster than the average annual growth rate of crude steel. Domestic supply of ferroalloy products exceeded demand, leading to a continuous increase in exports. Since ferroalloy products began to be exported in 1981, exports have increased year by year, approaching one million tons in 1994. From 1995 to 2002, exports fluctuated slightly, averaging 1.2474 million tons per year. From 2003 to 2007, exports continued to increase, averaging 2.2623 million tons per year.
